Hi there!

My name is Megan Jacob, but if you’ve made it this far you’re now a friend, and you can call me Meg.

For years I silently struggled with mental health issues and body images issues. I’ve been on diets most my life and learned to keep quite, act happy and smile even when I really needed help. After years of debilitating anxiety, bouts of depression and suicidal ideation, I decided I needed to ask for help.

Through therapy, medication, pottery, building a support team of friends and family, and a diagnosis of diagnoses of Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder & ADHD, I’m starting to feel more like myself again and have decided to share my journey on social media so others know they are not alone and to reduce the stigma of mental illness.

This page will be focused on my journey through mental illness, body neutrality, pottery and life in between. There will be a mix of plants and cat photos shared on top of discussion around meds, therapy and more. Thanks for following along and I look forward to journeying through life together.

xo Meg

Note: I am not a mental health professional, I’m simply a person sharing their experiences and what has impacted my journey with mental health and body neutrality. Please speak to a therapist or call the below suicide prevention services number for more support, found in footer.
